AI Thread Summary
Solar cells, solar panels, and solar arrays are related but distinct components of solar energy systems. A solar cell is the basic unit that converts sunlight into electricity, while a solar panel is a collection of multiple solar cells assembled together to generate more power. A solar array consists of multiple solar panels connected to work together, increasing the overall energy output. Although they all serve the same fundamental purpose of converting light into electrical energy, their definitions and configurations differ significantly. Understanding these differences is crucial for anyone interested in solar energy systems.

what is the difference between solar cell, solar array, solar panel?
aren't all of them the same?

What's the difference between a solar cell and a solar array?

do they have a difference don't they all do the same job convert light into electrical energy

They do the same basic thing (convert light into DC electrical power), but there is a difference between a solar cell and a solar array. What's the definition of an array (of anything)?

So I know that electrons are fundamental, there's no 'material' that makes them up, it's like talking about a colour itself rather than a car or a flower. Now protons and neutrons and quarks and whatever other stuff is there fundamentally, I want someone to kind of teach me these, I have a lot of questions that books might not give the answer in the way I understand. Thanks
I think it's easist first to watch a short vidio clip I find these videos very relaxing to watch .. I got to thinking is this being done in the most efficient way? The sand has to be suspended in the water to move it to the outlet ... The faster the water , the more turbulance and the sand stays suspended, so it seems to me the rule of thumb is the hose be aimed towards the outlet at all times .. Many times the workers hit the sand directly which will greatly reduce the water...
