AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on a video demonstrating how to distinguish between a raw and a boiled egg through spinning. One participant critiques the reliability of the method shown in the video, suggesting a more effective technique involves briefly halting the spin to observe the fluid dynamics inside a raw egg. Concerns are raised about the safety of the video link, with one user reporting that it crashed their computer. Despite the warnings, another user confirms the link works for them. The conversation highlights skepticism about the original post's intent and the potential risks associated with the shared link.

Speed and duration of spin? That looks pretty unreliable.. a better way is to spin the egg then briefly halt it's motion. The raw egg will resume its spin, because the fluid inside has not stopped.

Actually I knew about this, raw eggs are MUCH harder to keep spinning at a high rate.

Warning, clicking the link crashed my computer just now. Wonder what would motivate someone to join a forum just to make one post, about a link that crashes people's computers...

Link works for me...

So I know that electrons are fundamental, there's no 'material' that makes them up, it's like talking about a colour itself rather than a car or a flower. Now protons and neutrons and quarks and whatever other stuff is there fundamentally, I want someone to kind of teach me these, I have a lot of questions that books might not give the answer in the way I understand. Thanks
