AI Thread Summary
A blood panel typically requires only a small amount of blood, usually around 10 ml, which is significantly less than the volume taken during a full blood donation. The body can replenish this amount of blood relatively quickly, especially if adequate fluids and nutrition are consumed. Staying hydrated and maintaining a balanced diet aids in the recovery process after a blood draw.

How much blood is lost when getting a blood panel and how long does it take to replenish?

You will probably need to fill only one one small evacuated tube with blood. This is not like making a one-pint blood donation. You can Google "blood panel" for details.

Yeah not a lot like Turbo said. One vial is like 10 ml. Just drink yourself lots of fluid and eat your food, you will replace it pretty quickly

I am reading Nicholas Wade's book A Troublesome Inheritance. Please let's not make this thread a critique about the merits or demerits of the book. This thread is my attempt to understanding the evidence that Natural Selection in the human genome was recent and regional. On Page 103 of A Troublesome Inheritance, Wade writes the following: "The regional nature of selection was first made evident in a genomewide scan undertaken by Jonathan Pritchard, a population geneticist at the...
