In summary, the scan disk message appearing during start up is a notification that your computer has detected an issue with its disk drive and is automatically running a scan to check for any errors or corruption on the drive. If the scan disk message appears during start up, it is recommended to let the scan run to check for any potential issues with your disk drive. The duration of the scan disk process can vary and it is important to let it complete without interruption. In most cases, it is not recommended to skip the scan disk process as it helps to identify and fix any potential issues. If errors are found, the scan disk will attempt to fix them automatically, but it may be necessary to back up important files and seek professional help.

Dear members,
Everytime i start the system i get the following message " One of your disks needs to be checked for consistency . To skip disk checking press any key within 10 seconds" I wish that my disk needs to be checked so i didnt press any key but automatically after the specified seconds, the message says check disk cancelled. I performed check disk for c: from command prompt but the problem persists. I don't know what to do. Could some one help?
