In summary, "Sir" knighthood is a prestigious title in cricket that is typically reserved for men. While there is a female equivalent in the form of "Dame", there are currently no female cricketers listed as sporting knights or dames. However, there are other titles, such as Baroness, that can be conferred upon women who have excelled in cricket.

There is Baroness Heyhoe Flint.

Baroness is the female titular counterpart of Baron (a higher rank than Knight ##-## Knighthood corresponds to Damehood), and is usually called Lady, rather than Dame, which would explain why she's not listed in the Wikipedia article linked to by @DrGreg.

A woman can be a Lady of an Order of Chivalry, but cannot be a Knight Bachelor (someone knighted by the Crown, who is not a inducted member of Chivalric Order ##-## his wife is usually addressed as Lady).

The lowest ranking title for a woman is Baronetess (female equivalent of Baronet), called Dame, above Knight Bachelor, but below inducted Knight of a Chivalric Order.
