VOTE Photo Contest - Well-Beaten Path

AI Thread Summary
Voting for the best picture representing the theme of a well-beaten walking path has commenced early due to a scheduled server upgrade. Participants are encouraged to cast their votes for various entries, including images from glondor, hypatia, scorpa, edward, and others. The discussion highlights the quality of the images, with particular admiration for edward's photo taken at the Oregon Dunes, although some debate whether a sand path qualifies as "well beaten." Voters are reminded to submit their choices promptly, as the voting period is limited to less than two days before the server transition.

I voted for edward.
Wow, I love that grass..how did you get that effect?

I love edward's picture, the only thing that stops me from voting for it is that I am not sure if sand path can be "well beaten"

Wow, Thanks for the votes everyone. The picture was taken at the Oregon Dunes in early November of 2002. I was still using my old Monolta SLR film camera. I had my vacation pics developed and scanned to discs at Costco.

I thought about that myself, but if the path isn't used frequently the wild grass will grow right over it.
