Can you say your thinks about trending engineering
I am studying at electronic engineering student and I want learn your thinks thanks.
Trending Engineering Topics

Mechatronics Engineering

We can basically assume this engineering as combination of electronics and mechanics. Medical robots, cd players, automatic parking, anti-lock braking system(ABS), electronic stability control (ESC) and more inventions that we can realize are made through the mechatronics.

Industrial Engineering

Increasing competition in global economy pushes the employers to use sources (these sources are: raw material, employee, energy, engineering and time) more efficiently. Therefore, to keep continuity in production while making profit and managing sources , you will definitely need an industrial engineer.

Software Engineering

Software engineering includes development, design and maintenance of software. With this profession, technology and accessibility will keep improving forever. We often use creations of software engineers in regular life. Such as navigation systems, smart phones, computers, home automation systems, fitness trackers etc.

Electronics Engineering

Today we use and see a lot of diffirent electronic system and product. These engineers will product and developt these systems and products.

Of course we can not know which engineering topics will be trend but we think maybe they will be trend at global world

you might want to add ECO-Engineering Engineering products with more environmentally friendly usage/Materials/emissions/Lower energy dependency.

Really interesting ECO engineering ... Yes it can be trend thanks

I think the engineering discipline seeing the most growth is biomedical engineering. Here is a small sample of their job description according to BLS (http://www.bls.gov/ooh/architecture-and-engineering/biomedical-engineers.htm#tab-2):

"Biomedical engineers analyze and design solutions to problems in biology and medicine, with the goal of improving the quality and effectiveness of patient care."

In the United States, its one of the fast growing occupations.

Engineering software needs improvement. Anyone who's spent any significant amount of time using software will tell you that they need to be updated (even if they calculate correctly).

Hi all, I have a question. So from the derivation of the Isentropic process relationship PV^gamma = constant, there is a step dW = PdV, which can only be said for quasi-equilibrium (or reversible) processes. As such I believe PV^gamma = constant (and the family of equations) should not be applicable to just adiabatic processes? Ie, it should be applicable only for adiabatic + reversible = isentropic processes? However, I've seen couple of online notes/books, and...
I have an engine that uses a dry sump oiling system. The oil collection pan has three AN fittings to use for scavenging. Two of the fittings are approximately on the same level, the third is about 1/2 to 3/4 inch higher than the other two. The system ran for years with no problem using a three stage pump (one pressure and two scavenge stages). The two scavenge stages were connected at times to any two of the three AN fittings on the tank. Recently I tried an upgrade to a four stage pump...
