AI Thread Summary
The discussion highlights various innovative solar technologies, including transparent and flexible solar panels, carbon-based solar panels, and solar capture systems using Fresnel lenses. There is also mention of the potential for printing flexible solar panels with photovoltaic ink. However, many of these advancements remain in the research phase, making cost and efficiency data unavailable at this time. The transition from research to commercial products is lengthy, and not all concepts will reach consumers. Overall, the future of solar efficiency appears promising but uncertain.

I read there are transparent solar panels which are also flexible,
Then I read carbon base solar panel.
Then sun capture that concentrate to panels like other fresnel lens or dish like. Then there is this idea that people can print out their own flexible solar panels with photovoltaic ink.

What are the costs and efficient? What are the

Much of this is still in the research stage, so costs are not known. It takes several years to move from research to R&D, and more time to become a manufactured product ... and not all ideas make it into consumer hands.
