AI Thread Summary
When choosing a university in Tennessee or Texas for a bachelor's in Physics, Math, or Engineering, it's crucial to explore the research areas offered by each institution. University websites serve as a primary resource for detailed information on current research projects, faculty expertise, and departmental focus. Prospective students should look for sections dedicated to research, faculty publications, and ongoing projects to gain insights into the academic environment and opportunities available. Additionally, reaching out to current students or faculty can provide valuable perspectives on the research culture and available resources.

I am very realistic about it. I know that there are severe contraints when it comes to selfstudy compared to a regular school and/or university (structure, peers, teachers, learning groups, tests, access to papers and so on) . I will never get a job in this field and I will never be taken serious by "real"...
