Which Free Program Can Animate a Moving Particle for a Presentation?

AI Thread Summary
For creating animations of moving particles along surfaces, several free programs and libraries are suggested. Wolfram Mathematica's Animate feature is not meeting the design needs. Alternatives include game development libraries like Pyglet, Pygame, and PyOpenGL, which may offer more flexibility but come with a steeper learning curve. Blender is also mentioned as a potential tool for animation, likely due to its robust capabilities in 3D modeling and animation. Additionally, VPython is highlighted as a simpler option for creating visualizations and animations, making it a suitable choice for those seeking ease of use.

Hello!
Can you give me an advice about a program (free program probably) where i can program an animation of a moving particle along some surface for a presentation?
Now I'm trying to use Animate in Wolfram Mathematica, but it is not, what I'm looking for from the design point of view...
Thank you!

Hhhhmmmm...I don't know animation but since no one is saying anything I will throw a few options.

Something difficult would be to attempt to use one of those game development libraries like pyglet, pygame, pyopengl.

I wonder if it can be done with Blender.

Lastly, and this may be the easiest is to use vpython.

In my discussions elsewhere, I've noticed a lot of disagreement regarding AI. A question that comes up is, "Is AI hype?" Unfortunately, when this question is asked, the one asking, as far as I can tell, may mean one of three things which can lead to lots of confusion. I'll list them out now for clarity. 1. Can AI do everything a human can do and how close are we to that? 2. Are corporations and governments using the promise of AI to gain more power for themselves? 3. Are AI and transhumans...
Sorry if 'Profile Badge' is not the correct term. I have an MS 365 subscription and I've noticed on my Word documents the small circle with my initials in it is sometimes different in colour document to document (it's the circle at the top right of the doc, that, when you hover over it it tells you you're signed in; if you click on it you get a bit more info). Last night I had four docs with a red circle, one with blue. When I closed the blue and opened it again it was red. Today I have 3...
