Hello Friendly Community!

I recently was accepted to Yale College for undergraduate, and I was wondering what people's impressions of it were, either anecdotally or personal experience? I am particularly wondering about quality of teaching, I have heard horror stories about teachers not speaking English (although I hear this is a common trend amongst all universities) and related stories.

Thanks for your help!

I haven't heard of anyone having problems at Yale. There's a reason it's so highly ranked. The resources available to undergrads are very impressive. Have you toured the campus? You can't go wrong going there. Congrats on the acceptance.

Hey, I am Andreas from Germany. I am currently 35 years old and I want to relearn math and physics. This is not one of these regular questions when it comes to this matter. So... I am very realistic about it. I know that there are severe contraints when it comes to selfstudy compared to a regular school and/or university (structure, peers, teachers, learning groups, tests, access to papers and so on) . I will never get a job in this field and I will never be taken serious by "real"...
