How do you find the diameter of a wire
The actual question is: A 17.00 Ω resistor is made from a coil of copper wire whose total mass is 37.0 g. The resistivity of Cu is 1.68×10-8 Ω · m and its mass density is 8.90×103 kg/m3. What is the diameter of the wire? So would I use Ohm's law V=IR to find I?- angiep410

How do you find the diameter of a wire
Homework Statement I have a question where I'm given the voltage, mass, resistivity, and density of a wire and I need to find the diameter and the length. Can someone show me how to do both of these? Homework Equations I have no idea what equation would relate voltage, mass...- angiep410

How do you find the width needed for a plane mirror
Homework Statement a) You wish to have a plane pocket mirror that is as discreet as possible but with which you can see the whole width of your face. If your face is 23.0 cm wide, what is the minimum width, in cm, of the mirror for you to be able to see the whole width of your face in one eye...- angiep410

How do you find the difference in the angle of refraction?
But I'm given that the wavelength of orange is 610 nm and the indices of refraction is n = 1.522 and the wavelength of violet is 410 nm and the indices of refraction is n = 1.538. So How do I set it up if I'm given all of this information?- angiep410

How do you find the difference in the angle of refraction?
Homework Statement Sunlight strikes a piece of crown glass at an angle of incidence of 36.7 degrees. Calculate the difference in the angle of refraction between a orange (610. nm) and a violet (410. nm) ray within the glass. The indices of refraction for the orange and the violet are n = 1.522...- angiep410
