Can Hunter Values Be Converted to Transmission Percentage?
Homework Statement [/B] I was searching for a secondary source on investigating the effect of temperature on membrane permeability of beetroot and i need the d.v. values in transmission%. But I am getting the dv values in Hunter (‘L’ (lightness), ‘a’ (redness and greenness) and ‘b’ (yellowness...- ephphatha16

Find λ of light using a laser beam and a diffraction grating
Monochromatic light has single wavelength while in white light, there's mixture of wavelengths from 400nm-630nm. So I suppose this will help me to measure the distance between the fringes more accurately as the fringes only correspond to one specific wavelength? Also I have another doubt...- ephphatha16

Find λ of light using a laser beam and a diffraction grating
1. What is the advantage of using class 2 laser light? I would really appreciate if reference source is also given!Homework Equations Not needed.[/B]The Attempt at a Solution Well, I thought that using monochromatic light would made it easier to measure the distance between fringes. And also...- ephphatha16

Resistance of a tungsten filament bulb at 20 C
Thanks! The reason why I wanted to obtain this value is because I was doing an experiment for I-V characteristics of filament bulb. The maximum resistance of the filament during experiment was 9.46ohms. Now, if the actual value was 1.7 ohms at rtp, then there would be a huge percentage...- ephphatha16

Resistance of a tungsten filament bulb at 20 C
I was looking for any credible sources who could reveal the resistance of a normal tungsten filament bulb at room temp 20 C? I heard its cold resistance is about 9.5ohms. Is that the resistance at rtp? Thanks a lot in advance!- ephphatha16
