What is the difference between Constructive Proof of existence and Existential generalization?
Logically they seem to be the same because, for a given predicate and specific member of the predicate's domain, you are concluding the general statement about the predicate.
I know there can be an infinite number of solutions when the objective function with 2 variables has an equal slope as a constraint's slope (assuming the constraint is affecting the feasible region and not a redundant constraint).
How can you know there are multiple optimal solutions for...
Why is resultant force directed towards the center of the circular path? Is it because centripetal force is greater than centrifugal force?
If the centrifugal force is greater, then the ball will rise? (If the string doesn't snap)
I have four more questions. I thought making a new forum would be too much for such simple questions.
1. Is "g" gravitational constant or gravitational acceleration? Because in my school I learned lowercase g as gravitational acceleration and capital G as the gravitational constant.
2. What...
Is this a legitimate equation?
θ'' = − g⁄R sin θ

The pendulum is modeled as a point mass at the end of a massless rod. We define the following variables:
θ = angle of pendulum (0=vertical)
R =...
My textbook talks about the average angular speed that ω = angular displacement / time for the angular displacement to take place.
So the question is like there is m1v1 = m2v2, can the velocity be instead average angular speed to have the conservation of momentum equation like this?
m1ω1 = m2ω2
But what proves that the sound is periodic? I'm not asking for the exact equation with exact values.
I want to know whether the period stays constant regardless of the decreasing amplitude (the height the ball on each end reaches, which decreases over time because of energy loss).
So I thought...
