Optimum gap size for diffraction
Hi Simon, thanks for replying again, I really appreciate your help! I am doing high school level physics (so it should be pretty basic - no complicated math, or experimentation, it is just purely conceptual), and as for 'most' diffraction, look at the image here...- The_Nster

Optimum gap size for diffraction
Hi Simon, thanks for the reply! By width, I mean the width of the slit opening (I am referring to single slit diffraction). As for maximum diffraction, I see how that is not a great way to phrase it. Ignore 'maximum', so instead of "which would cause maximum diffraction", substitute "which...- The_Nster

Optimum gap size for diffraction
Homework Statement Is diffraction at a maximum when the width of the gap is similar in length to the wavelength of the light? (ie. W ≈ λ, where w=width) Or is it a maximum when the width is smaller than the wavelength? (i.e W < λ)Thanks for the help!Homework Equations n/a (this is a homework...- The_Nster

Calculators Change overwrite cursor to insert TI-30x series
Thanks for the reply @Barely Fannel! I do know that you can insert numbers via second->insert, but I am trying to find a way to change the cursor so I do not have to repeatedly click second->insert. Personally I believe an insert cursor is significantly more intuitive and easier to use than an...- The_Nster

Calculators Change overwrite cursor to insert TI-30x series
Currently on the TI 30x calculators, the 'cursor' is a block the hovers above numbers and will overwrite them if a new number is pressed. However, is it possible to change the cursor to a line that sits in between numbers so you can easily insert numbers? I know this is possible on the TI 89...- The_Nster

Best (non-program) sci. calculator with a viewable memory?
Thank you so much CalcNerd for your insightful recommendation! you really do know your your calculators. I think I will go and get the TI-36x professional as you recommended, it appears to have significantly more functions than the 30X multi-view. Thanks again for taking time out of your day...- The_Nster

Best (non-program) sci. calculator with a viewable memory?
What is the best non-programmable scientific calculator with a scrollable (or otherwise easily accessible) memory of past calculations? I would like to find one where the full decimal/standard answers from past calculations can easily be selected and used for new calculations. I already know...- The_Nster
