Anyone know of good Mathematical Modeling classes/books?

I've recently gotten into Mathematics more and more, and I wanted to do some mathematical modeling just to see where I stand on it and maybe try to get better at it.

I've looked around as well as I could, and I didn't really find much, so I was wondering if anyone here knew of any good courses (videos or whatever) or books that would help with mathematical modeling.

I understand modeling is different for every scenario but an overview of what it entails, and the methods involved would be nice, if that doesn't exist, if anyone could recommend the next best thing, that'd be great.

In terms of software and such, what might I need for it as well?

The field of mathematical modeling is so general that I think you'll get better advice if you explain what type of phenomena you want to model. The stock market? World War II? Combustion inside the cylinder of an automobile engine?

I assume you intend to incorporate computers somewhere in this effort. Do yo favor a particular programming language?

You're correct that I will incorporate computers into this. I'm mainly looking to model business scenarios, anything basic related to that. I have no preference for programming languages, if needed I can try and learn any ones that'd be required.

I'm not informed about modeling business scenarios. I suggest that you be even more specific. For example, the use of "stochastic calculus" to model trading in securities could be interpreted as a business scenaro. But this is very different that trying to model the effects of advertising campaigns or deciding how many widgets of type A and type B to manufacture.
 
TL;DR Summary: Book after Sakurai Modern Quantum Physics I am doing a comprehensive reading of sakurai and I have solved every problem from chapters I finished on my own, I will finish the book within 2 weeks and I want to delve into qft and other particle physics related topics, not from summaries but comprehensive books, I will start a graduate program related to cern in 3 months, I alreadily knew some qft but now I want to do it, hence do a good book with good problems in it first...
