In summary, Robert Ballard, who discovered the Titanic in 1985, is planning to explore the Black Sea and document Noah's flood. He believes that the Black Sea was originally a freshwater lake that was flooded by the Mediterranean about 7,500 years ago, possibly matching the biblical account. This theory is supported by Ivan Seeking, who also proposes a similar date for the cataclysmic event. However, there is a discussion about a potential flaw in the theory of natural selection.

"The explorer who discovered the Titanic beneath the Atlantic in 1985 is setting out on another underwater expedition to document Noah's flood. The Black Sea was originally a freshwater lake that in ancient times became inundated by the salty Mediterranean. Robert Ballard believes that this was a cataclysmic event that occurred about 7,500 years ago, and was possibly the deluge described in the Bible."

It's interesting he should come up with that date. Because it's very close to the date I came up with, about 7,160 years ago.

A Flaw in the Theory of Natural Selection?

In case anyone is interested, I've created a new thread, A Flaw in the Theory of Natural Selection?, which goes into more detail about my own theory above. Thanks!

1. What is the lost Ark and who are the believers in it?

The lost Ark is a legendary artifact from the Old Testament that is believed to be the physical embodiment of God's presence on Earth. The believers in the lost Ark are a group of people who hold a strong belief in the existence and significance of this artifact.

2. Where is the lost Ark believed to be located?

There are many theories about the location of the lost Ark, but the most popular belief is that it is located in a secret chamber beneath the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

3. What evidence is there to support the existence of the lost Ark?

There is no concrete evidence to prove the existence of the lost Ark, but some believers point to historical accounts and religious texts as proof. Others claim to have had personal experiences or visions related to the lost Ark.

4. Why do some people doubt the existence of the lost Ark?

Some people doubt the existence of the lost Ark because there is no conclusive evidence to support its existence. Additionally, the idea of a physical object containing God's presence goes against some religious beliefs and scientific principles.

5. What is the significance of the lost Ark to those who believe in it?

The lost Ark holds a great deal of significance to believers as it represents a physical connection to God and reinforces their faith. It is also seen as a symbol of hope and a source of ultimate power and protection.
