Calorimetry & Thermodynamics textbook

AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on the challenges faced while studying for the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) using "University Physics" by HD Young, specifically regarding the quality of problems in Calorimetry and Thermodynamics, as well as the lack of detailed solutions. A recommendation is made to use "Thermodynamics" by Zemanasky, which is suggested as a better resource for more comprehensive problems and solutions in these topics.

I am studying for the IPhO and I am using University Physics by HD Young. I think that the book's problems in Calorimetry and Thermodynamics are not very good and also there are not detailed solutions to the problems. Can anybody propose to me any good textbook with more problems and detailed solutions?
