AI Thread Summary
Hormones can indeed be modified through the regulation of feedback loops, where one hormone influences the secretion of another, ultimately affecting the original hormone's levels. The discussion centers on the possibility of decreasing somatotropin (STH) in rabbits to study the resulting health effects, including potential sicknesses or cures. The individual seeks guidance on how to effectively decrease STH for their project, indicating a need for more specific methodologies or approaches to achieve this hormonal modification.

Can we modify hormones? I mean can I decrease the STH by stimulating another hormone?

Yes. All hormones are regulated by feedback loops. One hormone stimulates or inhibits secretion of another hormone that stimulates or inhibits another hormone...until one stimulates or inhibits the first hormone. This is a very simplified answer. Let me know if you need something more specific.

I have been thinking on a project about it and I need some help. I want to decrease STH on rabbits and observe the modifications if it causes different sicknesses or it cures some sicknesses. Hmm, but I don't know how to do it.
