I was wondering if anyone could help me out on how to draw a molecular orbital diagram for the tetrahedral CH3F. I understand how to draw a molecular orbital diagram for the more simple molecule CH4, but am unsure as to how I can incorporate the p orbitals of the fluorine atom into the diagram?
Any help or hints would be greatly appreciated.
