AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around the Copenhagen Interpretation of quantum mechanics, questioning its validity and whether it has been disproven. Participants clarify that it is an interpretation, not a physical theory, and emphasize that quantum mechanics itself cannot be deemed incorrect, even if it doesn't align with general relativity at all scales. The conversation also touches on the philosophical implications of interpreting physical theories, suggesting that no theory can be universally correct in every context. Additionally, there is a note that the thread may be moved to a more appropriate forum due to its philosophical nature. Overall, the debate highlights the complexities and limitations of interpreting quantum mechanics.

Is Copanhagen physics true or has it been disproven? I seriously hope that dude is wrong.

Copenhagen is the capital od Denmark, a country in Europe.

You refer to an interpretation of quantum mechanics, which cannot be proven wrong-- only the quantum mechanics itself. That is known to not be consistent at all scales with general relativity, but that doesn't necessarily make quantum mechanics wrong. For my own part, I think it is naive to imagine that a physical theory could be exactly correct in every situation.

It is NOT Copenhagen physics, it is Copenhagen Interpretation! There's a difference.

It appears that this is going to be a philosophy topic, so this thread will be moved to the appropriate forum.
