I'm looking for something that would help the process of learning such things as your points of sail.

It's funny you ask, a friend of mine was wondering the same thing this past weekend... mostly as just a game though. I did happen to run across this which looks really good graphics wise. The site mentioned that the software is used as a training simulator at sailing schools, but I don't know how true that is to be honest.
