Backing up a large list of Internet Explorer favorites on a Windows 7 Pentium system can be efficiently done by copying the "Favorites" folder to a backup location. This method is practical for users with extensive bookmarks, as it avoids the tedious process of manually copying and pasting each link. A helpful resource for this process is available at a provided link, which outlines the steps for backing up Internet Explorer favorites.

Hi, All:

I have a Windows 7 Pentium system with IE--pretty close to the latest update. My list of favorite Internet sites is pretty large; easily more than 60 items. Sadly, my system has crashed a few times over the last 2-3 years, and I have lost the list each time when reinstalling.
Question: Is there a reasonably-nice way of backing-up the list? If I had only a few items, I could just copy and paste the links to the respective pages into a single page. But with 60+ items, this does not seem practical.

Any Ideas?
Thanks.

Can't you just copy the "Favorites" folder to a back up location? (I have zillions of bookmarks. Way more than 60!)

Excellent, thanks a lot.

In my discussions elsewhere, I've noticed a lot of disagreement regarding AI. A question that comes up is, "Is AI hype?" Unfortunately, when this question is asked, the one asking, as far as I can tell, may mean one of three things which can lead to lots of confusion. I'll list them out now for clarity. 1. Can AI do everything a human can do and how close are we to that? 2. Are corporations and governments using the promise of AI to gain more power for themselves? 3. Are AI and transhumans...
Sorry if 'Profile Badge' is not the correct term. I have an MS 365 subscription and I've noticed on my Word documents the small circle with my initials in it is sometimes different in colour document to document (it's the circle at the top right of the doc, that, when you hover over it it tells you you're signed in; if you click on it you get a bit more info). Last night I had four docs with a red circle, one with blue. When I closed the blue and opened it again it was red. Today I have 3...
