If you've already taken the AP Physics C Examination

AI Thread Summary
The AP Physics C Examination consists of two separate components: Mechanics and Electricity and Magnetism, which are administered in the same testing slot. Students can take both exams back-to-back, as they are designed to be completed in a combined time frame similar to other AP tests like AP Calculus BC. Preparation for both subjects is essential, as they cover distinct topics and require different problem-solving approaches. Many students find it beneficial to study for both simultaneously to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the material. Successfully navigating both exams can lead to a strong performance and potentially higher college credit.

For those of you who have taken the AP Physics C Examination already, is it possible to go through the Physics C: Mechanics and Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism exams straight through all at once, or are they 2 separate exams?

You're supposed to take them in the same testing slot. Both of the tests are equal the same amount of time combined as say, AP Calc BC and other AP tests.

Thread 'Collision of a bullet on a rod-string system: query'
In this question, I have a question. I am NOT trying to solve it, but it is just a conceptual question. Consider the point on the rod, which connects the string and the rod. My question: just before and after the collision, is ANGULAR momentum CONSERVED about this point? Lets call the point which connects the string and rod as P. Why am I asking this? : it is clear from the scenario that the point of concern, which connects the string and the rod, moves in a circular path due to the string...
