Studying Is Tackling Kleppner/Kolenkow Chapter End Problems Worth the Struggle?

Hello. I am finding chapter end problems in kleppner/kolenkow text on classical mechanics (2nd edition) quite challenging. Should I give up?

Since you say you already have a degree in physics, I guess I don't understand what good you expect to come by working out 1st-year physics problems.
