Major Wind Turbine Projects in Canada & Beyond - Location, Budget & More

AI Thread Summary
Major wind turbine projects in Canada and internationally are increasingly costly, often exceeding $15 million, and aim to significantly advance the field of physics. The discussion emphasizes the importance of project location, with a preference for Canadian initiatives, but acknowledges valuable contributions from global projects as well. Participants from various nations contribute financially, with discussions around funding percentages, gross expenditures, and staffing costs. Links to resources like the Canadian Wind Energy Association provide additional insights into wind energy development and specific projects. Overall, the focus remains on the impact and financial details of large-scale wind turbine projects.

anything big like it costs more then 15 million and some how it has made or is attempting to make a significant contribution to the field of physics.
If it's happening in Canada then that would be most preferable and helpful but if it's taking place in a different country then that is good too

and if it would be helpful if there are links that have the following info:
Location, Participant Nations, Financial info (% funding by nation, gross expenditures, salaries, staffing, etc),

Thread 'Motional EMF in Faraday disc, co-rotating magnet axial mean flux'
So here is the motional EMF formula. Now I understand the standard Faraday paradox that an axis symmetric field source (like a speaker motor ring magnet) has a magnetic field that is frame invariant under rotation around axis of symmetry. The field is static whether you rotate the magnet or not. So far so good. What puzzles me is this , there is a term average magnetic flux or "azimuthal mean" , this term describes the average magnetic field through the area swept by the rotating Faraday...
