hello..i m phasing a problem..i have an hydraulic circuit with pressure 72 bar and i want to find the cylinder diameter. I have that rod diameter is 15 mm and the speed of the cylinder is 4 times higher than the rod..please help me because i seraching days for this solution which i m sure that is very easy but i can't find nothing.. I think that the informations i have are not enough! thnx..

If you're saying retract speed is 4X faster than extend speed...

Draw a circle inside of another circle. You are looking for the area of the outer circle. from that you can calculate the diameter and have your answer.

The area of the inner circle is known (15mm dia).

The area of the outer circle is 4x greater than the (area of the outer circle minus the area of inner circle).

Pressure is irrelevant. Is there enough information?

i know that Q=V x A..SO--> 4V x A=V x (A-a) and then i can find A..Is that right?
