AI Thread Summary
AND and NOR gates can be realized using diodes by configuring them in specific arrangements to perform logical operations. An AND gate is created by connecting two diodes in series, allowing current to flow only when both inputs are high. Conversely, a NOR gate is constructed by connecting diodes in parallel with their anodes tied together, ensuring output is high only when both inputs are low. The discussion references the importance of NAND gates as foundational elements, from which other gates can be derived. Understanding these configurations is essential for implementing basic logic circuits in electronics.

I think it's easist first to watch a short vidio clip I find these videos very relaxing to watch .. I got to thinking is this being done in the most efficient way? The sand has to be suspended in the water to move it to the outlet ... The faster the water , the more turbulance and the sand stays suspended, so it seems to me the rule of thumb is the hose be aimed towards the outlet at all times .. Many times the workers hit the sand directly which will greatly reduce the water...
