Satellite Detection of Tsunami Signatures: Understanding Unique Waveforms

Might one have satellite detection (or oceanic sonar buoys?) of tsunami by radar penetrating to floor for near site of earthquake; detecting initial waveform of tsunami? Do all tsunami (like earthquakes?) have a unique signature?

On August 10, 2025, there was a massive landslide on the eastern side of Tracy Arm fjord. Although some sources mention 1000 ft tsunami, that height represents the run-up on the sides of the fjord.
