AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around a Sci-fi channel program featuring the Vilisca murders, where a paranormal researcher captures what he believes are orbs, interpreted by some as spirits of the victims. However, these orbs are humorously suggested to be insects, raising skepticism about the paranormal claims. The conversation shifts to Camden, New Jersey, with participants commenting on its appearance and reputation, noting that while it may look dangerous, the locals are friendly. There’s also a mention of a river in Mexico with extreme conditions, but the focus remains on the lighthearted critique of the paranormal claims and the discussion about Camden's character.

Hehe, in the preview of the Vilisca murders, the paranormal researcher films orbs he believes to be the spirits of the victims. The only problem is that you can see the "orbs" flapping their wings. Obviously insects.

Or winged ghosts. That's clearly a better explanation.

Nothing in particular, it just looks like it's Calcutta or Trenchtown or some other dangerous part of the 3rd world residing in the U.S. But having gotten lost there a couple of times the people in general are nice and friendly and not threatening at all.

Did this program have the river in Mexico that's basically made of hydrochloric acid, due to the extremophile cave-snot life forms at its source?
