Vector products

    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
    vector A has magnitude of 2.80 m, 60 degrees above x axis. vector B has magnitude of 1.90 m 60 degrees below x axis. Is the direction of the vector product positive z direction or negative z direction? What is the magnitude of vector B times vector A. I already got vector A times vector B.

    Sorry, I was in a hurry to get this thing done by midnight. I got it completed, but I need help understanding the right hand rule.

    What is confusing you about the right hand rule? If you are confused about the procedure of it:

    Place your fingers of your right hand in the direction of the first vector in the product. Then, curl your fingers towards the second vector in the product. If you can't, then flip your hand around. After you have curled your fingers, your hand should be in a "thumbs-up" formation. Your thumb is pointing in the direction of the product vector.
