What Points Have a Y-Coordinate of -3 and Are 13 Units from (1,2)?

I can't get the correct answer to this problem.

Find all points having a y-coordinate of -3 whos distance from the point (1,2) is 13.

Since the y difference is 5 (2-(-3)), the x difference must be 12 (52+122=132). The x coordinate must therefore be 13 or -11. (You've got 2 points - I am assuming we're working in a plane).

This is an elementary geometry problem. Why is it this forum?
