AI Thread Summary
To build a new tablet, hiring an Electrical Engineer (EE) and a Mechanical Engineer (ME) is essential for the design and functionality. An Industrial Designer is also recommended to enhance the product's aesthetics and user experience. Engaging a headhunter can help identify the right candidates for these roles. The project will involve purchasing components like processors, displays, and PCBs from suppliers such as LG Display. Overall, assembling a skilled team is crucial for successfully launching the start-up.

Hello, I currently have an idea to initiate for my start-up business. Therefore, I do not have the skill to do it. Will it be feasible to hire an engineer? The project consists to build a tablet with few built-in that are not currently in the market. We have found several suppliers, like LG Display, that could contribute in our project.

What type of engineer do I need in order to build a tablet? Processors, Display, PCB, etc will be purchased.

Welcome to the PF.

You will likely need an EE and an ME (to do the physical design), and an Industrial Designer (to do the look and feel). You could contact a headhunter to discuss what types of people you should be looking for.

Thread 'How can I find the cleanout for my building drain?'
I am a long distance truck driver, but I recently completed a plumbing program with Stratford Career Institute. In the chapter of my textbook Repairing DWV Systems, the author says that if there is a clog in the building drain, one can clear out the clog by using a snake augur or maybe some other type of tool into the cleanout for the building drain. The author said that the cleanout for the building drain is usually near the stack. I live in a duplex townhouse. Just out of curiosity, I...
Hi all, I have a question. So from the derivation of the Isentropic process relationship PV^gamma = constant, there is a step dW = PdV, which can only be said for quasi-equilibrium (or reversible) processes. As such I believe PV^gamma = constant (and the family of equations) should not be applicable to just adiabatic processes? Ie, it should be applicable only for adiabatic + reversible = isentropic processes? However, I've seen couple of online notes/books, and...
