AI Thread Summary
The discussion revolves around the challenge of using a desktop driver on an Acer laptop equipped with a GeForce 9500 graphics card. The user previously had a program that modified the driver for compatibility but could not recall its name. After extensive searching, they identified the program as Nvidia Mobility Modder, which allows desktop drivers to be adapted for notebook use. It is noted that Nvidia also offers mobility drivers specifically designed for laptops, which can be used directly without modification.

i once had this driver installed before i reformatted my computer.

the problem is my computer is not compatible with this driver because its for desktops and I am on an acer laptop with a geforce 9500.

before i reformatted i had a program that was able to convert that driver to be compatible with my system. the problem is i can't remember what this program was called.

its kind of similar to riva tuner i think, just can't remember the name but it worked awesome, anyone know what I am talking about?

Asus Vivobook S14 flip. The power button is wrecked. Unable to turn it on AT ALL.
