Hi,

What would be the approach to getting a good estimate of the amount of force needed to stamp an American quarter? (This is assuming you have the blank already made)

I'd like to get a good estimate, but more importantly an idea of what numbers go into this estimate, i.e yield strength, coefficient of friction, etc.

With a big enough press, you don't have to worry about yield strength, friction, etc.
