AI Thread Summary
The discussion focuses on the adjustment calculations for leveling work, specifically comparing scenarios where the leveling returns to the same point versus moving from a known point to a different point. The adjustment formula mentioned is (Bs - Fs) / number of points for the same point scenario, while for the different point scenario, it is suggested that adjustment equals end closure divided by the number of turning points (TP). A key question raised is the validity of dividing by three when only two TPs are present in the case of readings 392-394. It is also questioned whether the corrections were properly applied to the first three readings in this scenario. The conversation emphasizes the importance of correctly applying adjustment formulas based on the specific leveling context.

Homework Statement

in photo 391 , we can see that the levelling work is back to the same point , which is TBM1 . so , the adjustment of correction is (Bs -Fs ) / number of points ... But in 392-394 , the levelling work is from a known point to a different point ...
I'm wondering that is the adjustment correct ? It's given that adjustment = end closure / number of TP ...

Homework Equations

The Attempt at a Solution

In the table provided , we can see that there are only 2 TP , why the author divided by 3 for the case in 392-394 ? [/B]
