AI Thread Summary
The discussion focuses on finding the best golf ball launcher for the Monkey and Hunter game, specifically one that can accurately shoot golf balls at least 4 meters across and 1.7 meters high. The user is seeking recommendations for a suitable spring that meets these specifications, having already checked local hardware stores like Rona and Home Depot without success. They mention the technique of bore sighting the barrel to align with the target but emphasize the need for a reliable spring. A suggestion was made to visit Atkins for potential options, though the user is unfamiliar with that store. The conversation highlights the challenge of sourcing the right materials for effective gameplay.

Hey guys. I'm stuck. I'm sure most of you have heard of this before. Monkey and Hunter. So right now, I need to know which is the best model to aim accurately and hit the golf ball no matter how high the stand is. I need to know where to get a good spring that can shoot at least 4m across and 1.7m up.

IIRC you simply bore site the barrel on the target. That is look through the barrel and line it up so you can see the target.

Yes I know all that stuff.. But what I'm trying to find is a good spring that can launch at least 4 meters. I checked Rona and Home Depot but there wasn't anything there. The guy at Rona told me to go to Atkins but I have no idea what that is.

So I know that electrons are fundamental, there's no 'material' that makes them up, it's like talking about a colour itself rather than a car or a flower. Now protons and neutrons and quarks and whatever other stuff is there fundamentally, I want someone to kind of teach me these, I have a lot of questions that books might not give the answer in the way I understand. Thanks
I am attempting to use a Raman TruScan with a 785 nm laser to read a material for identification purposes. The material causes too much fluorescence and doesn’t not produce a good signal. However another lab is able to produce a good signal consistently using the same Raman model and sample material. What would be the reason for the different results between instruments?
