The heat of a good brush fire will evaporate the water long before it could quench the flames...good idea, though!
 
When I was young *cough* *cough* I had these ideas:

1, A large cone/dome to cover the fire
2, lots and lots of sand

lol oh well, can't say I tried :P
 
Just ONCE, I wanted to see a post titled Status Update that was not a blatant, annoying spam post by a new member. So here it is. Today was a good day here in Northern Wisconsin.
