I have to do an E&M problem, I think I got it, but I made a few steps that I don't really understand. The first one is:

Does
del x dB/dt = mu dJ/dt ??
If so, why ?

I tried using latex, but it didn't work...sorry :(

yes, because derivatives wrt independent variables always commute (ie you can always change the order) …

2/∂x∂t = ∂2/∂t∂x :wink:

Kindly see the attached pdf. My attempt to solve it, is in it. I'm wondering if my solution is right. My idea is this: At any point of time, the ball may be assumed to be at an incline which is at an angle of θ(kindly see both the pics in the pdf file).
