I had a midterm and a quiz today, and I don't think I did too well.

I feel like complete ****!

My gf is cooking me lunch so let's hope that does some good. :)

Hopefully you will get well soon.

Heh. I got sick on my ACTs and didn't have a chance to take em again.

Now, she's not picking up the phone. :(

My God! I couldn't tell you how many people I know have been sick. I don't know if y'all have heard but there's a school in Georgia where 16% of the students got a stomach virus.

It was the first I've been sick during a midterm or test. I couldn't even think straight at all.

And here I thought you didn't care about your marks ;)

I took a test when I had the flu once.

I could just imagine.

Normally after the test I remember all the questions and answers. Obviously, you talk about the test with friends, but I couldn't. I couldn't remember anything. I just wanted to get out.

Don't they allow you to miss and make up a test if you're really sick? I would require a doctor's note so I know the illness is legitimate, but I'd much prefer a student stay home and get better than infect the entire rest of the class (and me!) during the exam.

I missed my first ever college physics test because the day before I fell off my bike and became a human tomato. I happened to spill on the sidewalk while passing in front of the first year dean, however, so she just emailed all my profs and there was no problem.
For us if you get sick you can hole up at Health Services and the prof's required to let you redo the work later or some such. Most kids prefer just lying in their dorms instead but, as it's been pointed out many a time to us, you're just lying around being miserable anyway so who cares where you do it?
