AI Thread Summary
The discussion revolves around solving for the HAB angle in a geometry problem. Participants express difficulty in identifying angles and seek hints to progress. One user suggests finding angle DHC and expresses frustration at not being able to determine any angles in terms of variables X and Y. The values provided are Y = 70 and X = 20, leading to a discussion about the sum of the interior angles of a quadrilateral being 360 degrees. The conversation emphasizes collaborative problem-solving and the importance of breaking down the problem into manageable parts.

Usually, the person posing the question tries to show what work they have. It doesn't have to be the complete solution obviously, but what ideas do you have? Do you have any equations, or can you figure out any of the angles?

I couldn't solve it :(

could you give me a hint ?!

Don't worry about solving it. Can you find ANY of the angles? Write them in terms of X and Y to start

I couldn't :cry:

I tried..

Can you at least find angle DHC? I can't believe you can't find any angles in terms of X and Y

Y = 70
X = 20
:)

Now, How can I get HAB ?

...? sum of the measures of the interior angles of any (what kind of) quadrilateral... ? 360 degrees...
