Homework Help: Geopotential/pressure altitude

  1. Jun 24, 2013 #1
    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
    Pressure altitude = 4500 ft
    Temperature = 95 F
    sea level pressure = 28.9 in HG

    Find density altitude

    2. Relevant equations

    3. The attempt at a solution

    I need to look up more info on a standard atmosphere table, and I'm confused whether the altitude of 4500 ft works. In the tables, the altitude is "geopotential" altitude. This would be different from pressure altitude right? How do I convert between the two?
