Hello guys ,
Could anyone of you please tell me what's the great fuss about a physics project. Sorry for being a little informal. My teacher wants me to do a project in physics and I don't know how to start with. I am interested in doing physics but the idea of a project takes me nowhere. So could you please help me giving some ideas. Please remember that I am an undergraduate student.

What do you mean "What's the great fuss about"? And what kinda college has their students do "projects" in sciecne :D

I think he is in High School. If I was doing a science project I would do something about electricity or maybe a nice paper about nuclear fussion.

O my bad. When you said "teacher" emediately thought it is High School.

Thread 'Collision of a bullet on a rod-string system: query'
In this question, I have a question. I am NOT trying to solve it, but it is just a conceptual question. Consider the point on the rod, which connects the string and the rod. My question: just before and after the collision, is ANGULAR momentum CONSERVED about this point? Lets call the point which connects the string and rod as P. Why am I asking this? : it is clear from the scenario that the point of concern, which connects the string and the rod, moves in a circular path due to the string...
