How can i design a small sized high torque slow speed motor

AI Thread Summary
To design a small-sized high torque slow speed motor, consider integrating a gearbox to enhance torque output. Pancake motors or axial rotor motors are recommended for their compact size and efficiency. Additionally, examining the lensing motor from modern digital cameras can provide insights due to its high torque and compact design. These components can help achieve the desired specifications for a small, high torque motor. Focusing on these motor types and configurations will aid in the design process.

You could also consider the lensing motor of the modern digital camera. It is very high torque and fairly small (at least compact).

Use a “pancake motor” or “axial rotor motor”.

I have Mass A being pulled vertically. I have Mass B on an incline that is pulling Mass A. There is a 2:1 pulley between them. The math I'm using is: FA = MA / 2 = ? t-force MB * SIN(of the incline degree) = ? If MB is greater then FA, it pulls FA up as MB moves down the incline. BUT... If I reverse the 2:1 pulley. Then the math changes to... FA = MA * 2 = ? t-force MB * SIN(of the incline degree) = ? If FA is greater then MB, it pulls MB up the incline as FA moves down. It's confusing...
