AI Thread Summary
The discussion focuses on the accuracy of various software packages for solving mathematical problems and simulations, particularly in the context of finite element analysis. TK Solver is highlighted as a preferred tool for mathematical problem-solving, although it is limited to Windows. There is a call for more specific inquiries regarding software packages and the types of simulation problems being addressed to facilitate better responses. Additionally, there is a critique of vague questions in the forum, emphasizing the importance of demonstrating effort in discussions.

Specifically what other software packages are you asking about? For what class of simulation problems? Please narrow your question some so that you can get reasonable answers. Thanks.

If you are talking about mathematical problems and solvers (including use of an Optimizer), I personally use TK Solver (https://www.uts.com/Products/TKSolver). Only available for Windows, though.

thanks, compared to all other finite element software?

Please stop making threads with broad questions and showing zero effort. This thread is closed. After you return from your temporary ban, please take care to show lots of effort in your future thread starts. Thank you.

This week, I saw a documentary done by the French called Les sacrifiés de l'IA, which was presented by a Canadian show Enquête. If you understand French I recommend it. Very eye-opening. I found a similar documentary in English called The Human Cost of AI: Data workers in the Global South. There is also an interview with Milagros Miceli (appearing in both documentaries) on Youtube: I also found a powerpoint presentation by the economist Uma Rani (appearing in the French documentary), AI...
I have been idly browsing what Apple have to offer with their new iPhone17. There is mention of 'Vapour cooling' to deal with the heat generated. Would that be the same sort of idea that was used in 'Heat Pipes' where water evaporated at the processor end and liquid water was returned from the cool end and back along a wick. At the extreme high power end, Vapour Phase Cooling has been used in multi-kW RF transmitters where (pure) water was pumped to the Anode / or alternative Collector and...
