AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on the weight impact of spray paint or permanent markers on a paper rocket. It highlights the variability in weight addition based on the amount of paint used and the size of the rocket. A suggestion is made to conduct a test by weighing a piece of cardboard before and after painting to measure the weight change accurately. The conversation emphasizes the importance of experimentation for precise results. Overall, the weight added by paint can vary significantly depending on usage.

hello!
I'm new on this forum. I am currently building a paper rocket.
Just a question (if you can please help): how much weight do you think spray paint or permanent marker will add to the paper rocket?

Thanks in advance,

Aha! First tell me how much weight you add to the weight of the Earth

This is impossible to answer, it depends on how much you put on and how big your rocket is.

Perhaps you could test paint a piece of cardboard, weighing befor and after to see if you can detect the change.

ok thanks
