tan theta = 0.107
Therefore theta = 6.14 degrees

How do I come to this conclusion using a calculator?

on you calculator, there must be a button saying tan^{1}. After pushing that, enter the tanthetha value, and you will get the angle.

I thougt that was it, but my calculator returns .016594434 when tan^{-1}(.107) is entered
 
It looks like your calculator is set to radians instead of degrees.
