AI Thread Summary
Several users seek reliable resources for understanding APA format in English, expressing frustration over the inconsistency in formatting requirements across different classes. The discussion highlights the challenges of adapting to multiple citation styles, including APA, MLA, and Turabian (Chicago), and the complications arising from updates in formatting guidelines, such as the transition from the 4th to the 5th edition of the APA manual. This inconsistency in academic standards is a common source of annoyance for students, who feel burdened by the need to frequently adjust their work to meet varying requirements.
