How Will Martian Colonization Impact Astrology and Charting Systems?

AI Thread Summary
The discussion explores the implications of human colonization of Mars on astrology. It raises questions about whether individuals born on Mars will adhere to Earth-based astrological charts or if a new system will be necessary, considering Mars' different day and year lengths and the perspective shifts from Earth. The conversation touches on the current astrological age, with speculation about transitioning from Pisces to Aquarius, and how this might influence Martian astrology. Theoretical calculations for Martian natal charts would require studying individuals born on Mars to understand celestial influences on human behavior. Additionally, there are hints of a connection between Martian and Egyptian astrology, suggesting that Martian astrological beliefs may evolve distinctly from Earth’s traditions. The discourse emphasizes the need for further research into how celestial movements affect Martian inhabitants.

Assuming humans someday colonize Mars, how will astrology deal with it? Will people born on Mars still have the same types of Earth-based charts or will a new charting system need to be invented in order to account for the change in perspective, the different day/year lengths of the homeworlds, and what happends when the Earth is in Aquarius?

(I'm not trying to be condescending...I'm just curious about what astrologers think about this.)

according to what i have read, we are still in the age of pisces (spiritual stage) and in 2060 we will enter into the age of aquarius (concern for humanity), however there is speculation that we have already entered into the age of aquarius because of the breakdown of the church ruled society and into the information age that connects all humanity...

as for martian astrology, the only real way (theoretically) to calculate the natal astrological cycles on the human pysche is to have humans born on Mars and study the planetary placements in accordance to how humans react...

remember, astrology is the study of cycles of reflection from the celestial movements in relation to how humans behave...our current astrology has taken thousands of years to understand, and is possible there is more to understand yet...

One of the brightest planets in the Martian sky is --- Earth. What does it mean for a Martian to be born when Earth is in trine with Jupiter? What if Earth is in the ascendant?

By the same token, all the astrology of Mars will be subtracted from the lore. There goes all that strife and anger.

The astrological beliefs of Martians is already being studied. Appearently, they are closely related to Egyptian astrology, hinting at a possible connection between the Martian and Egyptian cultures. There is some data here.
