AI Thread Summary
To prepare for the GRE exam and achieve a high score, it's essential to determine whether to take the General GRE, a Subject GRE, or both, and to choose the appropriate subject if opting for a Subject GRE. For those preparing for the Physics GRE, recommended resources include specific websites that offer practice materials and guidance. Utilizing the four official practice tests is crucial; analyzing one test helps identify areas needing improvement, while the remaining tests can be used to simulate real testing conditions.Vocabulary preparation is also vital for the GRE. Suggested resources include Barron's GRE book, which contains a word list, and Quizlet for interactive vocabulary flashcards. While some users find traditional vocabulary boxes ineffective, alternatives like FreeRice offer customizable vocabulary practice. Overall, a combination of targeted study, practice tests, and effective vocabulary resources is key to GRE success.

If you're preparing for the physics GRE then visit these links:

also I recommend that your main source should be the 4 practice tests,, analyse one of them learn from it all that you need restudy, and use the other three for practicing testing conditions and seeing what else you still need to study..

And what abt vocabulary? where should i learn vocabularies for GRE?

If you sign up for an account in quizlet.com, there are several GRE vocabulary flashcards that you can study. It is actually really fun. A lot better than paper flashcards. You can make your own flashcards, but usually there are other flashcards that other people have made that you can study. They usually get them from the Princeton Review's list or other GRE preparation books.

Good Luck

This is a good question, and I found after studying many words & even buying GRE vocabulary in a box, it practically didn't help at all. I found the words on the test to be particularly obscure & random. I don't know though, http://www.freerice.com/ isn't too bad (you can change the difficulty settings).
